Letter from the CEO

As I reflect on the past few months, I am filled with gratitude for your steadfast support. Your generosity is the pulse of our organization, empowering us to create a meaningful impact in our community; as we know, poverty does not take days off, and neither will we, as you have charged us to do this work.

This quarter, we celebrated several milestones that we could not have achieved without you. We served more people in the Choice Food Distribution than ever before. We partnered with Dental Designs for no-cost dentures. We worked with Boys Town’s Mobile Hearing and Speech Clinic to provide screenings. Community members’ participation in our weekly classes is increasing, and we achieved a monumental milestone with our 150th Fresh Start graduate!

Heart has always been proud of the fact that we know and understand what we do well. This allows us the ability to work with and partner with other businesses and non-profits who are experts in their fields. These partnerships ultimately assist our community members in moving forward in every aspect of their lives.

Each step forward a Community Member or Fresh Start participant takes shines as a testament to your commitment and belief in our mission. As we look to the future, we are inspired by the potential opportunities that we are creating with relationships with supporters just like you. Thank you for being an essential part of our journey.
