Volunteer Spotlight: Honoring Greg Glenn and Welcoming New Leadership
Friends and family gathered on Sunday, September 21, to celebrate the retirement of Greg Glenn, our former Volunteer Coordinator. Greg guided nearly 7,000 volunteers through their time serving in the Choice Food Distribution Center each year. Greg ensured that volunteers understood how their service contributes to advancing the Heart’s mission while inviting them to serve with dignity for all.
Greg’s leadership set the tone for volunteer involvement at the Heart. He curated an atmosphere where individuals, teams, companies, and schools offered their time and felt empowered to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
“Greg very much embodies what everyone at the Heart Ministry Center does; he is a magnet of love,” shares St. Patrick’s of Elkhorn Church volunteer coordinator Amanda Pfeifer.
We appreciate Greg’s dedication to the importance of this position and welcome Jacqueline Dumas as our new Volunteer Coordinator. Jackie brings skill, energy, and a strong alignment with the Heart Ministry Center’s values, making her an excellent fit for the role. We are thankful for Greg and Jackie’s collaboration, which ensured a seamless transition and continued focus on excellence in volunteer relations.
