Dignity for all is at the core of Heart Ministry Center’s Choice Food Distribution Program, the largest in Nebraska. Our beautiful Eugene Williams Food Pantry is set up like a grocery store, allowing community members the ability to shop and choose from a selection of meats, produce, bakery goods, dairy items, and shelf-stable foods for free.
Typically, community members receive enough food for two weeks, as well as information about the full range of services available on our campus, located in the heart of North Omaha. In 2022, the Choice Food Distribution Program provided nearly 3.2 million pounds of food to over 142,000 of our neighbors in need.

Bob Head, Volunteer
A visit to Heart Ministry Center provides an opportunity for children to explore the Art Room, where they can take part in group projects with longtime beloved volunteer, Ms. Buffie, that will decorate the walls of the building. What’s more, each child can choose a new toy to take home.
