RALSTON, NE / FEB. 12, 2020 — With the month of February being associated with “hearts,” ACasseroleToGo.com has selected the Heart Ministry Center as the company’s 2020 charity partner. The organization will receive a donation equal to 10 percent of sales throughout the entire year.

The Heart Ministry Center began 40 years ago to provide needed services to members of the Omaha community affected by poverty, including offering the area’s first “choice” food pantry (where individuals could choose the items they needed and wanted), free basic medical services provided in conjunction with Creighton University, and employment and self-sufficiency services.

This is the eighth year ACasseroleToGo.com has designated a charity partner to receive 10 percent of all sales. In the first seven years of the program, ACasseroleToGo has donated nearly $35,000 to charity partners.

In 2019, the company donated over $7,000 to the Team Jack Foundation. Previous charity partners include the Ollie Webb Center, Inc. (OWCI), Food Bank for the Heartland’s Backpack Program (2017), Make-A-Wish Nebraska (2016), The Carolyn Scott Rainbow House (2015), Omaha’s Open Door Mission/Lydia House for Women & Families (2014) and CureSearch® For Children’s Cancer, a national nonprofit foundation (2013).

ACasseroleToGo.com, a division of Abraham Catering, offers fresh, homemade entrees, sides and desserts for individuals, families, or corporate clients seeking ready-to-bake meals that are both healthful and convenient.

In addition to the financial donation, employees of Abraham Catering are donating their time to the Heart Ministry Center. Several employees volunteered in the food pantry on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
