I have not been able to post blogs lately as the renovations have forced the Staff to share a computer as well as to be without plumbing. Even so, I could not be happier. The renovation will allow the Center to serve our clients even better.
It is disheartening to see how much need there is and how this need has only increased throughout the construction. Fortunately, the construction company has been flexible and understanding in the fact that we need to stay open during this time.
I have yet to hear a client complain about the noise or the mess associated with the construction. They just seem so genuinely appreciative that we are helping them out. This positive attitude only excites me more about the renovation. Our clients deserve to be treated with the utmost respect. Our clients are hard working, kind people that have just fallen onto tough times. It angers me greatly when I hear people talk about the sense of entitlement of people in need. I rarely see this type of behavior. The people utilizing the Center’s services are good people and I am just happy that we will be able to provide them the top quality of services that they truly deserve.
